VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the life of many companies there comes a point when the members decide that they no longer wish to carry on any activity and want to wind up their company. Provided that the company is not insolvent and is able to meet any payment obligations, the members have the option of winding up the company by means of voluntary liquidation. The voluntary liquidation process may take different forms (simplified procedure or general voluntary liquidation procedure), which affects the length of the procedure, the decisions to be taken, and the cost of the liquidation.
